I think I'm going to divide my Rectober posts by pairings (well I'm gonna try because I do like multi-ship reccing ^^), and for this I spent all of yesterday tagging my recs by pairings. I feel so accomplished. (Man, I'm lame) I'm starting with Draco/Neville. :)

I missed the whole Tropes madness, sadly, but you see, I was busy getting my wisdom tooth removed yesterday. >.<

There's swelling and a bit of bleeding —"lunch" was the worst—, and on top of that it's cold again, my nipples are like lethal weapons. All I want to do is curl in bed and whinge, which is pretty much what I've been doing since yesterday. Good times. ^^

But I only have these words, and because I know how great she is, how big her heart is, because I know she knows me, she's going to know these words come from my heart.

It opened my eyes, and I loved it.

In other news, I'm very achey. I cleaned up my house and now it's so shiny. But that's not why I'm sore. I started going to the gym last week and I'm still feeling it. I'm okay for the most part and then I do something drastic like, you know, laugh, and it's, ouch, oh yeah, my tummy remembers that. But it's good for me. I can do this! <--- The things I tell myself when the instructor is telling us very cheerfully, "Ten more!" XD

I was going to make the "Ask me anything" meme that is going around, but after asking (and reading answers) I'm a bit scared. :D You guys are filthy! ILYSM. <3

It got me thinking though.

I love commenting, I do. And it's just that, whether is a friend's fic, or someone I don't know very well, or someone I've never talked to before, when that author answers me back and say things like, 'This comment made my day!' or 'I'm so happy you like it,' or 'that's exactly what I was trying to say', for that brief moment you've made a connexion with that person, you know?

You made that person feel good, made them smile, and that's powerful, man. And from then on, when I see them again – another fic or art, another fest – I imagine they see my username and I see theirs, and we smile or nod in a, 'hey, I remember you,' kind of way, even if it was a short interaction, we're not strangers any more, because for a moment, they gave me something, a story, an art, a moment in a world they created, and because of my comment, I meant something to them, too. It's wonderful. Comments are ♥

It has been quiet lately. Part of me thought maybe this was one of those self-fulfilling prophecies in which we're all quiet because it's been so quiet lately, or we're all talking about how quiet it's been instead of, you know, just talking. :D

But it has been quiet. *nods*

In my little fannish heart I want to believe everybody is so busy typing their fingers off and drawing their bums off that most aren't here, like I know indeed that's the case for some of you. REAL MAIL. Which, never happens, really, because this country is a royal pain in the bumcheeks when it comes to postal service.

The thing is, back for my birthday vaysh told me she wanted to send me something, I explained what a pain it is but after investigating proper and going to this obscure office (no kidding, it's probably the same office Arthur Dent had to go to see the display of the plans for that bypass) they told me I could get mail to the central. So vaysh said let's try it. That was back in February.

Well! Yesterday it arrived! \o/ \o/ \o/

Two months later, I know, but OH MY GOD. I'm so excited, you're probably going to think it's ridiculous. But I don't care. I'm excited.

My birthday was Feb. 12th but I was travelling, and I thought it was kinda going to suck because, you know, I wasn't going to be able to celebrate it with you guys. But I was so, so wrong, because you guys, my awesome friends, started giving me all these amazing birthday presents before I went, and then sent me lovely messages and v-gifts and emails on my birthday and when I came back I got even more birthday gifts.

It was The Best Birthday Ever. :D I'm over the moon. I feel a bit bad because I know things have been hard on all of us, but at the same time this awesome thing was happening too!
