I hope you're all better once the swelling subsides - I was present when my BF had his wisdom tooth removed (he's Dutch and I had to translate) - the damn thing was still completely in the jaw, but growing horizontally, hurting like hell, and the dentist decided to open his jaw without breaking it to pull the tooth out: three and a half solid hours and 4 painkiller injections later the bitch was out and the dentist was in his wife-beater shirt, sweating like a pig on a spit. BF looked as if he went a round with Muhammad Ali and got a week off on a sickness-leave. I hope you get at least as much to pamper yourself some!

I'm so sorry you had to go through this! I remember getting my wisdom teeth pulled - my dentist was an idiot and left bits in my gums that came out later. I'm much pickier about my dentists now!

Ugh. I'm sorry to hear that, dear. Mine was... well, there's no nice way to go about it, is there? At least there are painkillers. ^^

I had 2 of them removed a year ago, and that side of my face swelled for like a week (with anti-swelling meds, antibiotics and everything). The dentist said that he had to saw the tooth AND the bone near it in order to remove it. Urg, I still have 2 more to schedule >___<.

Yeah, I had one removed last year and it was as "fun" as I remember. :(((((((

It's been a little bit warmer this afternoon. It's usually pretty hot here, so houses do not have heater, hence the, um, nipple problem. It's battling them with jumpers. XD

Oh, youch! I had mine out when I was a teenager ( wisdom left me early, you might say) and I remember taking a lot of codeine and eating an entire jar of Nutella in front of the TV.
