Halp! ~Rec me.
I need help. The thing is, finally, finally I got my Apple TV working. :D This means I have Netflix, and I'm not sure how excited I should be about this because the few things I looked for, they're not there.

I went looking for World War Z, I looked for Queer As Folk, I looked for Weekend, and nothing.

Meh.

I did see they have The Walking Dead, which is promising. I do like zombies.

So far I've watched stuff I had already seen:

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol
Like Water For Chocolate
And the first half of Harry Potter & Prisoner of Azkaban
Oh, and Dawn of the Dead (but we're not talking about that. >.>)

I also saw this cooking show with a Simon Hopkingson fellow, amazingly enough, this I watched while at my sickest, but I find watching cooking programmes very relaxing.

What I'm asking for is recs. What should I be watching? Is there anything good? Scary stuff? Funny? Anything?

Come on, it's Rectober! This totally will count for reccing. ^^

Ps. Um. Something's wrong with my layout. O.o It's fine until Birds' birthday post and then it's all wonky. Are you having the same problem? :/ Curse you, lj!!!!

Oh wow! So much fun!! I watch a bunch of stand-up comedy when I'm in bed and can't sleep. If you have Netflix you can get a free app on any of your devices and watch Netflix anywhere you can get a wifi signal. Here's a few of the things I watched on Netflix:

Queer as Folk (No clue why you can't get it, but most of the episodes are on youtube)
Orange is the New Black
The Blacklist
White Collar
Arrow (Awesome show.)
The Walking Dead (can't forget that)

I catch all sorts of shows on there from cooking and travel shows and lots of other documentaries. You just have to browse the thousands of things offered.

Oh, I'm watching 'Craig's List Joe' right now. Interesting documentary.

I am so checking that app! Not that I watch an awful lot of tv (or videos) on my stuff, but I can see how that's going to be super handy in long trips. :)

Such a sad thing about QaF. I was so looking forward to that. ^^ I am going to check where else is available though. Thanks for the tip.

I checked for The Blacklist, another I don't have, but I do have Orange is the New Black, The Walking Dead (which I started watching), and tonight I'll check for Arrow and White Collar. God, I can't believe I forgot about White Collar! I've been meaning to watch it for years.

Thank you!! <333

Yay! However, keep in mind that streaming these things is a bit of a gray zone. I don't download for any reason, but I do stream.

Also, you are NOT allowed to abandon h/d when you fall in love with Brian and Justin and want to go play in that fandom, like my buddy fray. And you can't get so wrapped up in QaF that you forget to keep rec'ing! Make the unbreakable vow!

I'll keep that in mind.

And don't worry. I don't think that would ever happen! My heart is all H/D. But yes, I remember telling Fray the exact same thing and she replying me the exact same thing I just said. Man, I'm half excited half afraid. XD
