Fests are open for prompting today!  
The [livejournal.com profile] hd_fanart fest opened prompting today! I'm so excited about this. It's my first time prompting! Last year I prompted by proxy so I hope I'm not messing it up now that I'm doing it myself. :D

And today [livejournal.com profile] hp_crossgenfest open prompting too! Alskdjflskdjf!!!!! I've been waiting for this for months! I LOVE Cross Gen. :D *refresh for prompting post*

Crossgen can be pretty addictive. :D I used to be just like you, H/D FOREVER, and I am, but I started reading Crossgen, and Pottercest (OMG!!!!!!) and I started enjoying them in a different way. If you go through rec tag here, you'll find some of my favourite crossgen recs, some Pottercest and a bit of everything, maybe you'll find something you'll enjoy. I hope you do. <3

I've read some crossgen; I can read pretty much any pairing if it's done well and I'm in the mood for something different, but I usually don't actively seek them out or follow fests. But seeking a bit out of the comfort zone can lead to some amazing reading experiences! So maybe I'll sneak a look at crossgen_fest :)

There're some Blackcest fics I love, Sirius/Regulus (or even better Sirius/Remus/Regulus), so one never knows with Pottercest as well ;)

Yeah. I'm kind of the same. I don't usually follow fests for a single pairing, but I've started following some communities and ran into some amazing crossgen fics, so I really should reconsider that. :D Fandom is full of awesome. :)

I've read very little Blackcest, a bit more of Weasleycest and I'm totally hooked on Pottercest. lol
