Miserable

Back from my vacations. And good grief!

The first couple of days of vacations weren't so bad, but then I got this Fiebre Intestinal, and I had fever for five days, unable to keep anything in my stomach, with high fever and the last three days I couldn't eat anything at all. I lost four kilos.

I arrived back here and went straight to the hospital for an IV and proper diagnosis, now I'm in treatment and finally home, getting better, very slowly, but at least no fever.

I'm glad that's over. Now I'm slowly, very, very slowly catching up (with fest, flist, etc.) while I'm not resting, but at least the fever and the shaking and body ache is mostly gone.

I hope everybody had it better this week. <3

Resting is almost all I can do. I'm so weak I swear I walk a bit and I'm short of breath all over again. But it's good to be home. *hug* Thank you, love. <3333

It was terrible, tam! You wouldn't believe it. :(((( Vacations completely ruined, well, 80% of them, the first couple of days weren't all bad, but still. ^^

Awful, at one point I wanted to do a 'mind over matter' thing 'me voy a poner bien, me voy a poner bien', but when it's a infection there's little you can do but survive it. :/

But yes, reading and commenting and reccing is the best I can do while rest. so cheers to that, yes? :)

It's scary when you're away because they can't give you anything without a proper diagnosis and everything is so complicated. They gave me something for the fever and it would lower a bit, from 38 to 36+ but after a couple of hours I'd be right back with it. But I'm much better now I'm home. <3

Thank you, love. I know you were! I saw the tweets, but I was so out of it I couldn't even get on line properly to even leave a message. I only sent M and iwao one-liners every couple of days because there was internet only in the lobby and I spent most of my time in bed. ^^

But yes, much better. <3 The worst is def behind me now.

I had some chicken soup today and was able to keep it! I hadn't been able to eat anything in days and days so yes, it tasted wonderful. ^^ <3

Ugh, being sick is awful, but being sick on vacation is a million times worse. I'm so sorry to hear that happened to you! But I'm very glad you're back and feeling better. My friends page doesn't look quite right without your recs on it. <3
