If I show you mine will you show me yours?

I reckon most of you have your fanon Harry and fanon Draco defined on your minds.

When I'm reading fanfiction I don't think about the actors as Harry and Draco, which is funny because when I think about the movies I can't even imagine anyone else but them as the characters.

Actually, when I'm reading funny stories I tend to imagine them as these chibbi-style cartoons. XD

I found my fanon Draco on a video. A porn video. *coughs* Oh, come on, don't judge me. We all indulge once in a while (don't you? Seriously? Because, Freud said—well, that's a subject for another post.).

ANYWAY.

As I was saying, I found my fanon Draco on a video. He's not exactly as I picture Draco, no pointy face (or cheekbones—woe is me) but there's something about him, the hair cut, the ~~skinny~~ slim chest, rosy nipples, that yeah, it makes me think of him as the younger version of my fanon Draco.

I'm curious about how people see their fanon Harry & Draco. Maybe you found them in an fanart, or a video, or a picture, or maybe several? Hair in one and body & face in another? Harry's hair seems to need a fanon!hair pic of its own.

I never see the actors when I think of the characters, except for the guy who plays Ron. To me he is pretty spot on. I also haven't seen all the movies, so there's that as well.

For an older Draco, the doctor at our local urgent care center is my perfect mature Draco. Sadly, I have never found a way to subtly hold up my camera and snap his photo...

I picture most (if not all) of the older people in the movies as I do in fanon. McGonagall is one, but most of the rest, too. *nods*

Hmmm, Colin Firth is good for picturing all of the time. You know, I had heard someone else mentioning this before, that they picture him as an older Harry, too. I can't remember who though. ^^

What a wonderful idea. It's really interesting how everyone pictures their fanon!Draco/Harry.

I tend to imagine my fanon!H/D differently, depending on their jobs mostly. I think, for instance, Auror!Harry is more muscled than Healer!Harry. :)

Oh, you know, you're right. They do change depending on the fic, but mostly I have a somewhat clear idea of what they look like, depending on the era. Young/Older, you know?

I love your Harrys! :D This guy, the one with the ubber messy hair and the jumper is so hot! But then, the third picture of Harry up there... Damn, all of them. :D

I think though my two favourite Dracos are the first two. I love the first one. Do you picture him in a post war 'picking himself up' kind of fic? lol And the second one, an 'arrogant, I'm beautiful & rich and you want me' fic? Actually, I'm totally stealing your Draco. :D

Alrighty then, since I'm reading at work, I only stole a quick little peek! And I'd probably better not click on any porn linkys! LOL!!

I don't [usually] picture Dan and Tom as Harry and Draco. Well, occasionally I have Tom in mind. I particularly like this icon. But I don't know that I actually have a real picture for my fanon Harry. Just what's in my warped little mind...

When I read, I usually like Harry to be a little more muscular, and Draco to be a little taller.

My latest obsession...Draco with glasses. *shrug* I dunno what it is about a nicely dressed blond with dark, clunky glasses...wineglass in one hand, a good book in the other. {{{sigh}}}

I'm the same as you. I can see art and pictures and be like "yes that could look like them" but I don't have a headcanon look to how they look like.

Okay, I am SO SORRY for using someone from (of all things) that cringe inducing reality TV show Made in Chelsea but one picture in particular of one of the characters is just my head canon fanon Draco. I think it's because he has a rich, Sloaney kind of look, he's slim (which my Draco is in physique) and wears a suit well...the personality of the character doesn't match at all, however, but the image has stuck with me for a while now.

For Harry, I do tend to picture Dan Rad but an older version, a bit more rough around the edges...this picture with different coloured eyes of course, has been my Harry head canon for a long time!

When I read fan fiction, my Harry and Draco always have some resemblance with Dan and Tom, but there are differences because I like to think of Harry as the rougher-looking and Draco as the 'cleaner'-looking one. *snickers*

I don't really use the actors (real or others) reference when I draw them - mostly I draw whatever I like and they'd turn out slightly different in each drawing, I guess. *blushes*

I think Tom was closer to my fanon Draco than Dan was to my Harry. Specially when people write things like 'filled out' and 'broad shoulders'.
