I do know what you mean - I was horribly behind in posting a chapter to my current WiP and everyone had to go and read the whole thing again to make any sense of it.

With Twist it is just too bloody long-- didn't mean for that to happen but it couldn't be broken into parts. Perhaps someday I'll go back and give it a proper edit and tighten it. I did have a couple of herrings that I buried in the beginning that I never used, and some I used at the end that needed more foundation at the beginning (if that makes any sense at all).
