Today I made the worst waffles in the history of waffle-making. I'm not even kidding, they were pathetic. :(

Sadder still is that I forgot to take a picture of them, because such bad waffles should have been documented, but maybe they're best left forgotten. What a loss though.

Anyway, on a different topic:

Does anyone know what happened with the Harry/Draco AO3 feed? I remember at the end of February it stopped loading properly and I was planning to open a support request asking what was the problem, but now it's completely gone. No more H/D AO3 feed, and it's so sad because that thing was super useful. Any idea how this work or what can be done or, I dunno, who to call? Ghostbusters? Anyone? ^^

I can't help you with the AO3 feed, darling, I think even if I knew that there was such an entity as an AO3 feed, mine probably wouldn't have been a drarry one. *sheepish grin of a deviant* Perhaps if you contact them on twitter? They used to be quite quick replying to that - and they usually don't ignore questions.

As to the waffles - darling, you are talking to the queen of burnt food! Were yours at least eatable? Because most my food isn't! Mr. Thestral learned how to cook only because he was tired of guessing what that black thing was before I got my hands on it. Once my parents left me with something to heat up - not even cook! - but I was so occupied with my homework that when there was already black smoke all over the kitchen from a fire burning in the pot, I simply opened the window and continued to do my homework at the open window. Luckily my dad came home or my parents would have nothing but a cardboard house under a bridge to live in. Surely, you're not quite that hopeless! But I am... which brings me the luxury of always having a good meal at hand, made by someone else. ;) Perhaps you could train Mr. Capitu? :D

LOL! Oh man, I so feel better. Yes, they were edible all right, only they were so bad, they were, I don't know, they could've been used as lethal weapons because they were so hard, and the colour was so off, like poor, sick-looking waffles. And the funny thing is, not even honey could make them good. The poor bf tasted one (he cunningly told me he didn't want any for himself so he sampled mines) and I watched him, after a bit he swallowed and concluded: "they're not terrible." But this is a man who thinks rice and ketchup sandwiches are yummy so. ^^

I'll see what I do about the feed. It was so, so useful to have that on LJ, I'll be sad if it's gone for good.

Also, I am sad you did not capture the waffle picture, I would have loved to see it! I have a bad problem with burning beans... I set them to boil and walk away and next thing I know the apartment is smokey... this has happened more times than I would like to admit :X

I'm sad I didn't take a picture of the waffles, and I was so excited to make them and all. I guess they only live in my memory now. *lol* I do have that problem while making caramel. I'm actually traumatised. :( I've burnt too many pots to count, really. ^^

wow i totally underestimated ao3 because i soo did not know about that one, but i totally can imagine that it was very, very useful *fingers crossed that its just a temporary bug and will be fixed*

as for the waffles!
you tried it- its an art (as is all cooking and baking) and you gave it your best, next time you wont make the mistakes you made this time (you will make others if my record is anything to go by) but not the same ones
could you eat some of them? were they tasty? really in the end the taste is all that counts!!

That feed was super useful!!!! Filtered all the H/D from ao3 to Lj. So yes, I hope it starts working soon, tomorrow if I have more time I'll see if there's a support page at AO3 where I can ask, and maybe finally open one here at LJ, too. *nods*

I'll try next time, I'm thinking it's a combination of bad mix and too much time on the waffle-maker, IDK, really! ^^

They were edible, and that's the best I can say about them, without the honey they were rather terrible though. I would have fared much better with toasts and honey for breakfast. But I'm not hungry any more, so I guess it's something. XD

see so your food did 2 things: i made you un-hungry and it made the honey taste better than before the rest is just training and good luck because sometimes the all amazing cooks mess up some stuff (apparently it has to do with the humidity in the air or something too)

and if you could keep me posted about the feed i shall be very grateful to you ( i already so the comment about tumblr... i just dont like tumbr that much)

I don't why it's not working, but I just checked and the one on tumblr works fine, so you could maybe follow it there instead, until LJ fixes it.

awww...sorry about your waffles. I got a Belgium waffle maker for Christmas and have been going crazy making waffles. Am even having a waffle bar at our Easter brunch. lol

And if they fix the AO3 feed....let me know. I was unaware there even was one!!

Yummm, waffles! I bet they still tasted good. Well, I would have eaten them. But I'm a bit of a garbage bin haha.

I have no idea how Ao3 feeds work, although I did just upload a fic there about 3 times and have to delete two and then I managed to upload it AGAIN as a new work while I was editing a tag, so maybe I broke Drarry.
