Just one question: you basically can ask for whatever you wish, right? And when you get your assignement that's based on a compatibility factor (For example, I love to write a kid!fic and I get to write one) Sorry if I ask, but I'm very stressed at the moment and I'm prone to serious confusion.

Well, basically yes. :) There's a sign-up to fill designed so you can expand on what sort of story/art you'd like to receive as well the sort of gift you'll be creating for someone else.

People usually don't limit to a single kind of gift they want to receive (or create for that matter) but if you're matched with someone it's because what you are willing to create is part of list of things the recipient wants to receive, if that makes sense?

Yes, it does! You basically go for all the things you like: fluff, kid!fic, humor or whatever and when another people has the same taste (Or he likes different things but also "fluff", idk) you write stuff for this person or you receive a gift from this person. Am I correct?

You are. :) When two people are matched it means that at least some of the likes of the recipient are consistent with what the artist/writer is willing to create. *nods*

But it doesn't automatically mean that the matching goes both ways at all. Say, if you're writing for X doesn't mean that X is necessarily creating for you.
